I am Professor of Political Science and Global & International Studies at the College of Wooster. My research examines the causes of consequences of repression and large-scale political violence, and the role of both of the state and the international community in causing, mitigating or preventing conflict and violence. I teach a range of courses in international relations and comparative politics, including Introduction to International Relations, Theories of International Relations, International Political Economy, Political Science Research Methods and Design, and Political Violence.
